Coastal CommuniCan
Location Encinitas, CA.
The Coastal CommuniCan Project was the first CommuniCan project in Encinitas and consisted of 18 cement trash receptacles adorned with 140 - 4"x4" ceramic tiles painted and glazed by K-12 student/Artists from Encinitas School District.
The CommuniCans were placed at each Beach Acess from Swami's Beach to Grandview Beach, with five at Moonlight Beach.
Project was funded by City of Encinitas.
